European Framework Programme for Research
The EU is pursuing the target of making Europe „the most dynamic and competitive knowledge-based economy in the world”. Therefore, research policy plays a correspondingly important role in the EU. This policy aims to modernise European research and implement a European research network. For technology-based firms, this results in opportunities for obtaining support at the European level – for example by collaboration on joint strategies via the technology platforms or by participating in calls for tenders within the context of the European Framework Programme for Research.
